Selleys Glass Silicone - 310g Cartridge

Selleys Glass Silicone delivers a long-lasting, waterproof seal for glass and window frames, ensuring protection against harsh weather conditions. This acetic curing 100% silicone formulation has excellent adhesion to glass and is especially formulated for glazing and aquarium construction. Features superior flexibility with ±125% movement capability, UV and weather resistance, temperature resistance from -60°C to +150°C, and comes with a 25-year guarantee against cracking, crumbling or peeling away.

Limitations Aquariums: allow to cure for 7 days. Prior to usage, thoroughly wash out with water, drain and refill before introducing fish. Suitable for constructing and repairing small aquariums. Specialist design required for large tanks. Contact Selleys if unsure. Not recommended for use on concrete, cement products, zinc or metals containing copper. Not paintable. Complete painting 7 days prior to applying sealant. Not suitable for use on oily woods such as cypress, teak or cedar. Not recommended for use in below waterline applications, glass aquariums excepted. Use Selleys MarineFlex for below waterline applications. Not for mirrors. Use Liquid Nails Mirror Metal & Glass. Not suitable for use on roofs and gutters as it will cause corrosion. Use Selleys Roof and Gutter Silicone. Not for use on polyethylene, polypropylene or Teflon. Pre-test plastics before use.
Directions for Use 1. Clean and dry surface from oil, dirt and grease with mineral turps. 2. Cut tip of cartridge at 45°, fit nozzle. 3. Gun sealant ahead of the nozzle ensuring product is pushed into joint. 4. Tool finish with spatula dipped in soapy water. 5. Clean up before sealant skins in ~5–10 minutes. 6. Allow sealant to cure (typically 72 hours).
