Substrate compatibility
No Mould Silicone Sealant
The No Mould Silicone Sealant datasheet (SELLEYS_NO_MOULD_SILICONE_SEALANT-AUS_GHS.pdf) confirms a recommended use of "silicone based sealant for application in bathrooms, kitchens and laundries." That puts it squarely in high-performance wet-area sealing territory — ceramic tile, porcelain, and sanitary fixtures are the natural fit. The datasheet doesn't enumerate every specific substrate material, but the application scope is clear and well-defined.
Brick & Concrete and SolarFlex variants
The supplied datasheets contain no product-specific information for the Brick & Concrete Silicone Sealant or the SolarFlex UV Weather Protection variant. The product names point clearly to their intended territory — masonry substrates for the Brick & Concrete variant, UV-exposed outdoor surfaces for the SolarFlex — but these substrate compatibilities need confirmation from their respective manufacturer datasheets before specifying either product with confidence.
Exposure rating (UV / wet / structural)
No Mould Silicone Sealant
According to SELLEYS_NO_MOULD_SILICONE_SEALANT-AUS_GHS.pdf, this product is engineered for "application in bathrooms, kitchens and laundries" — indoor wet environments where long-term mould resistance matters most. The datasheet doesn't specify UV resistance or structural load-bearing capability. This is a non-structural sealant built for indoor wet-area demands.
Brick & Concrete and SolarFlex variants
The supplied datasheets provide no exposure-rating specifications for these products. The SolarFlex name signals UV and weather protection for outdoor use — a performance profile that stands apart from the No Mould variant's indoor wet-area strength — but this needs verification from the product's own datasheet before making a confident specification decision.
Cure chemistry
All three products share identical chemistry documentation across the supplied datasheets. According to SELLEYS_NO_MOULD_SILICONE_SEALANT-AUS_GHS.pdf — referenced for all three products — the formulation is "silicone based," with hazard classifications of Skin Irritation Category 2, Eye Irritation Category 2A, and Skin Sensitisation Category 1. No product-specific cure-chemistry differences are documented in the supplied materials. Given that each product targets a distinct application environment — masonry, wet areas, and UV-exposed exteriors — dedicated datasheets for the Brick & Concrete and SolarFlex variants would be expected to detail any formulation differences, such as masonry-specific bonding agents or UV-stabilising additives.
Pack format
No Mould Silicone Sealant
The No Mould datasheet (SELLEYS_NO_MOULD_SILICONE_SEALANT-AUS_GHS.pdf) lists seven variants across two pack formats: 290mL cartridges (product codes 101803, 101804, 102080, 102081) and 100mL tubes (product codes 101833, 101834, 102052). Colours include Translucent, White, Light Grey, and Dark Grey — enough flexibility to achieve clean results on any wet-area finish.
Brick & Concrete Silicone Sealant - 415g
The product name specifies a 415g pack size — a larger volume well-suited to bigger masonry sealing tasks. This pack size doesn't appear in the supplied No Mould datasheet. No documentation in the supplied materials confirms this pack format or whether it's a cartridge, tube, or sausage configuration.
SolarFlex UV Weather Protection
No pack-format information is provided in the supplied datasheets for this product. Manufacturer documentation specific to the SolarFlex variant is needed to confirm available sizes and configurations.
Best-fit application
No Mould Silicone Sealant
The datasheet (SELLEYS_NO_MOULD_SILICONE_SEALANT-AUS_GHS.pdf) positions this product for "bathrooms, kitchens and laundries" — interior wet zones where mould resistance is the priority. Sealing shower enclosures, bathtub perimeters, and kitchen splashbacks with a product engineered specifically for that environment means lasting protection and professional results. The confirmed colour range — Translucent, White, Light Grey, and Dark Grey — supports clean aesthetics across a wide variety of interior styles.
Brick & Concrete and SolarFlex variants
Application guidance for the Brick & Concrete and SolarFlex products is not specified in the supplied documentation. The product names point confidently to their intended roles — masonry joints for the Brick & Concrete variant and exterior weather seals for the SolarFlex — but confirmed application guidance requires the relevant manufacturer datasheets.
When to choose Brick & Concrete Silicone Sealant - 415g
Product-specific selection criteria cannot be confirmed from the supplied datasheets, which include no specifications for this product. Based on the product name, this sealant looks to be the right tool for:
- Masonry sealing tasks where a larger-volume 415g pack delivers the coverage needed to get the job done in one go
- Porous-substrate applications such as brick, concrete, or stone joints where a formulation engineered for masonry bonding delivers better performance
These recommendations draw on the product name and the logic of Selleys' product range. Confirm specifications against the manufacturer datasheet for the Brick & Concrete variant before final product selection.
When to choose No Mould Silicone Sealant
According to the product datasheet (SELLEYS_NO_MOULD_SILICONE_SEALANT-AUS_GHS.pdf), this is the right product when:
- Sealing wet areas indoors — shower enclosures, bathtub perimeters, and kitchen splashbacks where mould resistance is non-negotiable. This sealant is engineered to deliver lasting protection in exactly these environments.
- Working in persistently humid spaces where an anti-mould formulation provides long-term defence against fungal growth and keeps surfaces looking sharp.
- Matching interior finishes — with confirmed colour availability across Translucent, White, Light Grey, and Dark Grey, this is the only product in the comparison with documented colour options, giving you the flexibility to achieve clean, professional results.
When to choose SolarFlex UV Weather Protection Silicone Sealant
Product-specific selection criteria cannot be confirmed from the supplied datasheets, which include no specifications for this product. Based on the product name, this sealant is built for:
- Outdoor applications exposed to direct sunlight and weather — environments that demand UV-stable, weather-tough performance

Related Products & Brand Context
All three products in this guide — Brick & Concrete Silicone Sealant - 415g, No Mould Silicone Sealant, and SolarFlex UV Weather Protection Silicone Sealant — sit within the Selleys sealants range, specifically under the Home & Garden > Sealants & Caulking category. Selleys is an Australian brand with a long-established focus on adhesives, sealants, and fillers for both trade and home improvement use. These three products represent different specialisations within the same silicone sealant family, each engineered for a distinct application environment rather than being interchangeable general-purpose products.
Within the range, the Brick & Concrete Silicone Sealant is the most structurally focused option — it's designed for high-movement joints in masonry, concrete, and fibre cement surfaces, and carries a 25-year guarantee against cracking or peeling. It suits outdoor construction applications such as patios, fencing, expansion joints, and wall joints. The No Mould Silicone Sealant occupies a different niche: it's built for wet interior areas like bathrooms, kitchens, and laundries, where ongoing moisture exposure makes mould resistance the primary concern rather than joint movement capacity. The SolarFlex product shifts focus again to exterior weatherproofing, with its standout feature being UV protection and the ability to bond to damp or wet surfaces — making it suited to outdoor sealing jobs where weather exposure is the main challenge and a 10-year guarantee applies.
Someone purchasing the Brick & Concrete Silicone Sealant for an outdoor paving or fencing project is likely to also need a caulking gun to dispense the 415g cartridge, as well as a surface cleaner or degreaser to prepare joints before application. For indoor tiling or bathroom renovation projects where the No Mould Sealant is the right choice, complementary products would typically include tile adhesive and grout, both of which Selleys also produces. For SolarFlex applications on roofs, gutters, or external cladding, surface primers compatible with the substrate in question are worth considering to maximise adhesion longevity.
Taken together, these three products illustrate how the Selleys silicone sealant range is segmented by environment — structural/masonry, wet-area interior, and UV-exposed exterior — rather than by size or strength alone.
