Surface Preparation Requirements
- Ensure surfaces to be bonded are clean and dry
- Remove all dust and debris
- Surfaces must be close fitting
Application Instructions
- Pierce the seal at the end of the tube by attaching the nozzle and cap, turning clockwise
- Remove the cap and apply a small amount of glue to one surface
- Bring surfaces together and apply slight pressure
- Allow 30 minutes for sufficient bond strength for practical use
- Maximum bond strength is reached after 24 hours
Limitations
- Will not bond: Teflon, polyethylene, polypropylene
- Not recommended for: Repairing handles of vessels that contain hot liquids
- May cause discolouration: Leather may discolour or harden; test on a small hidden area first
Note: Set time and cure rate depend on the type, condition, and closeness of surfaces, as well as atmospheric conditions.
