Application Instructions

Surface Preparation

  • Ensure surfaces are free from oil, grease, and dust
  • Wipe off any pooled water from wet timber

Application Process

  1. Apply a 5mm bead of Liquid Nails using a caulking gun along the length of joist, stud, or batten
  2. On broad flat surfaces, apply beads every 40cm
  3. Immediately press the two surfaces firmly together
  4. Fix with sufficient nails, screws, or clamping to hold load and achieve contact over total bond area
  5. Allow adhesive to set for a minimum of 4 hours before removing temporary fasteners or clamping

Cleaning

  • Uncured product: Remove with water and soap
  • Cured product: Remove by scraping or sanding
